Assessment/Evaluation: You will be evaluated and assessed in a variety of different ways, but primarily on the projects that you will create in class. Projects will be evaluated by using a rubric that outlines the criteria you should be striving for. The design process is emphasized on each project. Not only producing artwork, but planning, practicing and reflecting are extremely important process for an artist. Sketches will be used for many different things, but mainly for planning , reflecting and practice/experimenting. For each project you should have evidence of planning your artwork, practicing/experimenting for your artwork, your artwork and reflection of your artwork. Reflection and experimentation happen before, during and after your artwork is created. You will turn in all your design process evidence to be assessed at all due dates.
